Ventrica celebrates commitment to Real Living Wage

Customer experience specialist Ventrica is delighted to announce that they have become a fully accredited “Living Wage” employer.

Continual investment in its front-line brand ambassadors is a core part of Ventrica’s future strategy and this major investment sets Ventrica on a path to attracting and retaining some of the industry’s top talent in delivering CX.

The Living Wage commitment will see everyone working in their UK business receive a minimum hourly wage of £10.90 an hour, and £11.95 in London. Both rates are significantly higher than the government minimum for over 23s, which currently stands at £ 10.42 per hour.

Iain Banks, Chief Executive at Ventrica, said: “Retaining top talent and building our Employee Value Proposition is at the heart of our growth strategy at Ventrica, and committing to the Real Living Wage is something I am tremendously proud of.

Especially during this time of uncertainty and financial hardship, we were absolutely determined to support our people by offering them more financial security and confidence to plan for their futures.

This is only one of a suite of employee benefits that Ventrica offer our staff to ensure that top all our employees enjoy and feel valued by our company.”

The Real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers that wish to ensure their staff earns a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum.

The Living Wage movement has put more than £2 billion extra into the pockets of over 450,000 low-paid workers since it began in 2011.
