[Wokingham, Berkshire] – [17th February 2025] – The UK Contact Centre Forum (UKCCF Ltd) is delighted to announce that the Royal Borough of Greenwich has been awarded Silver accreditation status. This achievement underscores the council’s dedication to providing exceptional customer service and operational efficiency within its contact centre.

The UKCCF accreditation program provides a robust framework for evaluating contact centres against three key pillars: Customer Experience, Agent Experience, and Strategic & Planning. The rigorous assessment process, delivered by CGI, included a comprehensive on-site evaluation, in-depth data analysis, and benchmarking against industry best practices. CGI’s expertise in contact centre operations and assessment played a crucial role in the process.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Silver accreditation demonstrates their commitment to:

    • Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences: The council prioritises citizen satisfaction by ensuring easy access to services, clear and effective communication, and efficient resolution of inquiries.
    • Empowering and Supporting Agents: The council invests in its contact centre team through comprehensive training programs, ongoing development opportunities, and a supportive and positive work environment.
    • Maintaining a Strong Strategic Vision: The council’s contact centre operations are strategically aligned with its broader objectives, driving continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

Trevor Butterworth, Founder & CEO of UKCCF commented “We are delighted to congratulate the Royal Borough of Greenwich on achieving Silver accreditation. This is a significant accomplishment that demonstrates their commitment to providing high-quality service to their citizens. The rigorous assessment process highlights their dedication to best practices in customer experience, agent experience, and strategic planning. This Silver award is well-deserved recognition of their hard work and focus on continuous improvement.”

Dave Porteous, Lead Digital Consultant (CTIP, MBCS) comments: “Working with the Royal Borough of Greenwich has been a truly rewarding experience. Their contact centre team handles a diverse and often complex range of enquiries, from housing and social care to community support, with remarkable empathy and professionalism. What stood out most during the accreditation process was not just their ability to meet high standards, but their genuine desire to establish a culture of continuous improvement—one that prioritises making a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents they serve. This Silver accreditation is a well-earned recognition of their dedication, and I have no doubt they will continue to drive positive change for their community.”

The UKCCF congratulates the Royal Borough of Greenwich on this achievement and commends their dedication to continuous improvement. This Silver accreditation serves as a testament to their hard work and commitment to serving their community.
