- An inspirational voice for the neurodivergent community, Vicky brings vital knowledge to support vulnerable customers
- Focus of role will be on efficiencies and effectiveness, and enhancing DCBL’s already impressive early engagement
Debt resolution leader, DCBL, has announced its latest hire in its mission to drive well-paced strategic growth across the business, bringing in renowned contact centre expert Vicky Felton from telecoms giant O2.
With over 25 years of industry leadership experience, Vicky brings a wealth of knowledge to DCBL as the company sets the pace for its growth strategy in the coming months. The award-winning business prides itself on leading the sector in ethical collection.
During her distinguished career in telecoms, Vicky spent time at O2 and Virgin before making the move to DCBL HQ in Runcorn, where she is now spearheading “efficiencies and effectiveness” across operations.
Vicky is also one of the leading voices for the neurodivergent community in business, promoting the benefits these people can bring to organisations through their abilities to identify patterns and trends. Her knowledge and experience in this area give DCBL the capability to further support vulnerable customers who are neurodivergent and nurture teammates as they develop in their careers.
She has also held an esteemed position as co-chair of the VMO2 Neurodiversity Network and is studying for a CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management.
Commenting on her appointment, Vicky Felton said: “It’s an exciting time to join DCBL and help shape its next chapter of success. There is a real family feel here, with a strong focus on supporting people, both fellow colleagues and the people we come into contact with on a daily basis.
“I’m excited about the potential ahead and am committed to delivering meaningful impact as part of the business’s continued focus on leading ethical practice and achieving early engagement. Joining DCBL really appealed to me.
“I love what the company and management team are doing and jumped at the chance to support the business with its growth strategy moving forward.
“My focus is on efficiencies and effectiveness at DCBL. I can see patterns and trends that will make things quicker, faster, and easier. If getting from A to Z has previously taken ten steps, my job is to answer the question: ‘Why can’t it be done in three? ’
“I’ll also be using my experience of people management to keep building on the rewarding culture at DCBL. We already have some great schemes in place, and I will be working with the leadership team to improve them further. The team has a track record of training and nurturing staff as they develop in their career, allowing them to grow with the business and achieve their full potential.
“There’s a great infrastructure here, and I’m working hard to support DCBL on its mission to bring in more clients and grow at the right pace.”
Managing Director of DCBL, Darren Connor, commented: “It was clear from the early stages that Vicky was the person we wanted for this role.
“She brings wonderful experience, of course, but most importantly, she brings a mindset that is in tune with what we are trying to achieve as part of our ‘one solution’ philosophy.
“We are the leading provider of debt resolution and High Court enforcement services in the UK, and we need the best leaders in place to hold our market position.
“Vicky is a great fit in that regard. We’re already seeing the benefits of her being in post, and the next few months could be some of the biggest yet for DCBL.”
