Jennifer Cummins, Chief Operating Officer at Lemon Contact Centre, marks a remarkable 15-year work anniversary with the Teesside-based firm.

Jen’s journey within the company, which also celebrated its 20th anniversary early this year, started as a part-time customer service advisor, and has been nothing short of exceptional. Over the years, Jen has progressed into pivotal roles such as Quality and Training Manager, Contact Centre Manager, and Head of Operations, culminating in her current position as Chief Operating Officer in 2021.

Jen said” “I am immensely proud to have reached such a significant milestone at Lemon. Since joining I have worked in various roles delivering exceptional customer service to our clients, and today, I have the privilege of leading a dedicated and passionate team, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional customer service day in and day out.”

Before her tenure at Lemon, Jen began her career in sales within the motor trade and subsequently worked at a large mobile provider’s contact centre in the Midlands. Her decision to join Lemon in 2008 upon returning to her native North East has proven to be a rewarding one.

“Migrating to Lemon was a natural choice for me,” Jen noted, “as I was drawn to the company’s core values and its commitment to nurturing and developing its employees. I’ve not only observed this first hand but have also played an integral role in facilitating the growth of others within the organisation. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is providing individuals with opportunities to flourish and succeed. We have a dedicated team of employees who genuinely care about our clients and their customers.”

Since joining the 24/7 contact centre, Jen has witnessed Lemon’s growth to over 100 staff, serving a substantial client base in the UK and Europe. Her contribution to reshaping the contact centre’s operations has significantly improved both the client and employee experience.

Martin Anderson, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Lemon, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, remarking, “Jen’s exceptional talents and unwavering determination have not only propelled her through our organisation but also stand as a testament to the remarkable achievements attainable through hard work, unwavering commitment, and steadfast loyalty. She is an inspiration to those around her and her innate leadership style has been instrumental in shaping Lemon into the successful business it is today. Personally, I am profoundly grateful for Jen’s loyalty and dedication to the company, and I eagerly look forward to continuing our journey for the next fifteen years and beyond.”

Lemon Contact Centre remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a growth-oriented environment, a commitment epitomised by Jen’s 15-year journey and her influential role as Chief Operating Officer.
