Ascensos, a leading, independent, customer service provider which is headquartered in Scotland, is continuing its international expansion with the announcement of a new base in Trinidad and Tobago.

Ascensos currently employs over 3,000 colleagues and since launching in 2013, the business has expanded internationally with a network of offices across the UK, Eastern Europe, and South Africa.

Launching in June 2023, the new operation in Trinidad and Tobago’s Capital – Port of Spain – will create 100 jobs initially, growing to 300 positions in its first three years.

John Devlin, CEO and co-founder of Ascensos, said: “Trinidad and Tobago is the perfect location for our nearshore Americas base, opening up new markets for our business while enabling us to strengthen our support for our North American clients and their customers.

“Trinidad and Tobago’s infrastructure, the friendliness of its people, quality of life and direct links to the USA and Canada are all very impressive.  The time-zone also enables us to deliver round-the-clock customer service for our UK and European partners.”

Ascensos boasts an impressive client portfolio including a range of national and international brands.

Devlin continued: “This is a fantastic opportunity to further expand our global footprint by creating a significant number of high-quality, digital jobs in Trinidad and Tobago.  We’re looking forward to building on new business opportunities in this part of the world while continuing to provide the world-class customer service we’re known for to our existing network of clients.”
