[04/11/2025, Cheltenham]: Puredrive Energy, the British manufacturer behind Duracell-branded home energy storage solutions, has been crowned double winners in last week’s UK Contact Centre Forum awards. Puredrive were announced winners in the Small Contact Centre of the Year, and Customer Experience Team of the Year.
This win recognises Puredrive’s dedication to delivering world-class support to installers and homeowners across the UK, as it continues to accelerate the transition to smarter, cleaner home energy. The Toddington-based manufacturer has enjoyed a standout year, being shortlisted in multiple national and regional award categories.
The UKCCF Awards Gala took place last Friday at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, bringing together the country’s leading customer service teams and innovators. Competing against major national brands including nPower Business Solutions and E.ON Next, Puredrive impressed judges with how it handled an increase in service levels due to a 50% surge in installations, resulting in more installers requiring on-site and technical support.
One of the many ways they achieved this was through the introduction of technology to utilise the use of video calls, screen sharing, SMS messaging, and on-the-spot visual diagnostic allowing installers to locate easy-to-find answers to common questions. This led to a reduction in the number of ticket requests by installers and end users – all powered by a dedicated service team based in the heart of Gloucestershire.
Chantelle Newton, UK CCF Awards Programme Director, said:
“Puredrive demonstrated a standout commitment to customer care, pairing strong community values with scale-ready processes. The team’s passion, responsiveness, and investment in customer experience set a benchmark for their industry.”
Nilesh Bhudia-Luke, Service Director at Puredrive Energy, said:
“After an incredible year of achievement, the team’s hard work has paid off. We always say that customer service is not just a department, it’s our ethos. This award is recognition that our dedication to our installers and homeowners truly sets us apart.”
The win marks another major milestone for Puredrive as the business continues to scale production in the UK, strengthen its manufacturing base, and deliver more British-designed battery storage systems to homes nationwide. With demand for energy independence growing and smart-energy adoption accelerating, Puredrive’s team remains focused on ensuring every customer, from first enquiry to aftercare, receives the highest standard of support.
Next, Puredrive will look to continue its winning streak at a local level, having been shortlisted for two awards in the upcoming Gloucestershire Business Awards.
