I-Net Communications Group Plc achieves ISO 27001 accreditation

ISO 27001 is the international standard that provides the specification for a best-practice information security management system (ISMS) and is one of the most popular information security standards in the world. Achieving accreditation to ISO 27001 provides an independent, expert assessment that information security is managed in line with international best practice and business objectives.

“We realised the importance of ISO 27001 Accreditation early on and although we had our own internal systems it was critical for iNet’s growth objectives to ensure we comply with global standards of best practice. We are delighted by this achievement and looking to the future, really excited.” – Michael Pavlou, CEO – I-Net Communications Group Plc.

Accreditation covers a systematic approach including processes, technology and people that helps iNet protect and manage all of its information through effective risk management and includes compliance with a range of laws, including the NIS Regulations (Directive on security of network and information systems) and the EU GDPR rules.

“The achievement of this standard reflects our commitment to projecting iNet through its next phase of customer acquisition, giving customers the assurance of best practice in security and risk mitigation” said iNet Founder, Eugene Doogan.
