In its inaugural year, The Telegraph Trade Awards showcase the best-of-British SMEs, with the shortlist announcement selecting 40 of the fastest-growing and most successful UK SMEs trading internationally today.

Content Guru has been shortlisted for its work with Rakuten Communications, a subsidiary of global innovation leader Rakuten Inc, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. This recognises the strategic partnership between the two organisations to deliver connect storm cloud contact centre solutions into the Japanese market.

Allister Heath, Business Editor, The Telegraph and Trade Awards judge said:

“We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the entries we received this year. It was an extremely difficult task for the judges to narrow down this shortlist, but those chosen represent the very best of the UK. We wish them all the best of luck in the final awards.”

Sean Taylor, Co-Founder and Global CEO at Content Guru, said:

“We are pleased to be included in the Telegraph Trade Awards shortlist for our work with international partner Rakuten Communications in Japan. Asia-Pac was a key expansion target for 2018 as its cloud contact centre market is seeing impressive growth. We have seen great success with Rakuten in this space, and being shortlisted recognises the innovative and agile approach of our partnership.”

The Telegraph Trade Awards will take place on November 1 2018 at The Marriott Grosvenor Square, London.
